Reserva Estatal de Vallombrosa

A large nature reserve in Tuscany, famous not only for its beautiful forests, but also for its monumental, medieval Benedictine monastery. It is located in the middle of forests, surrounded by nature and picturesque, hilly areas.

Among the forests, several hiking and orwer routes have been marked out, as well as places for picnics. Vallombrosa is a popular vacation spot for the people of Florence. It is also famous for honeys, candies, juices and liqueurs produced in the monastery.
