Rotonda di San Lorenzo

The oldest church in Mantua, built in the 12th century on the site of a Roman temple dedicated to the god Venus. A brick rotunda covered with a dome is decorated with thin pilasters and a frieze. Inside, there are fragments of medieval paintings on the walls and vault.
