Porta Rudiae

Late baroque town gate facing the ancient city of Rudiae. It stands on the site of an earlier gothic gate, which was pulled down in the 17th century. The entrance leads through an arched passage that is flanked by columns. At the top there are statues of Saint Oronzo, the main patron of Lecce and other saints.
