Castillo de San Pelagio - Museo del Volo

The 14th-century castle houses the aviation museum. It was from here that the planes for the famous flight over Vienna in 1918, during which, instead of bombs, were dropped, leaflets urging the end of the war were dropped. The originator of the action was the aviator and writer Gabriele D'Annunzio, whose office can be viewed at the castle.
