Castillo Catajo

A castle house that had its origins in a simple villa. In 1570 it was rebuilt and extravagantly enlarged into a feudal castle by Marquis Pio Enea I degli Obizzi. The villa houses an extensive series of frescoes created between 1571 and 1572 by Giambattista Zelotti, a student of Paolo Veronese.
