Abadía de Madonna del Monte

The Benedictine monastery was founded in 1001, but its construction took about 25 years. There are relics of St. Maurus, a Benedictine monk, the first bishop of Cesena in the 10th century. The abbey has one of the richest collections of items donated to the Church in Europe.
