Greece's highest peak at 2,918 meters above sea level. Its massif rises above the sea, and below is the popular Olipian Riviera. The summit is open to tourists. Several hiking trails have been marked out on the slopes. There are also tourist hostels. It takes about 6 hours to reach the summit from Litochoro.
