Fenêtre des Makes Belvedere

The Fenêtre des Makes observation deck is located in the vicinity of the city of Saint-Louis, at an altitude of 1,580 meters above sea level. It can be reached by car or on a hiking trail that runs through the forest and is approx. 10 km long. The viewpoint offers a panoramic view of Cilaos, Piton des Neiges and Grand Bénare. For the best visibility, it is worth going there early in the morning.
