La Chartreuse-De-Valbonne

Carthusian Monastery (monastery of the Carthusian Order) consists of a 13th-century church and numerous small hermits, which are the residence of monks. Almost throughout the entire 20th century, it housed a leprosarium (a place of isolation for people suffering from leprosy). Currently, the monastery complex is a museum open to visitors.
