The historic tenement house was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is one of the most representative examples of Art Nouveau architecture in Paris. Its decorative façade won an award in 1901 in the Paris competition for the most original façade. The interior is also richly decorated in the Art Nouveau style.
