Established by a book enthusiast, the museum presents the development of bookselling by showing the birth of the alphabet (pictograms, cuneiform and ideographic writing), presentation of writing techniques (clay tablets, papyrus, parchment, paper) and the invention of the printing press. A separate presentation was devoted to the techniques of artistic book binding.
