The picturesque Étretat beach is completely covered with small pebbles. It is surrounded on two sides by monumental cliffs to which a steep path leads. On the side of the Amont cliff there is also a causeway with a floating springboard. Étretat Beach is a great place to swim and take a stroll along the seafront while enjoying the atmospheric views.
A promenade runs along the beach, from which you can observe the cliffs and the entire beach. It houses bars and snack restaurants. On the promenade, there are also panels depicting paintings by Monet, for whom Étretat was an important inspiration - over 50 of the artist's works are devoted to this place. Regular art and cultural events take place on the beach, including the Art Day and the Hello Birds festival.
