The image of Our Lady of Graces was worshiped already in the Middle Ages - the first temple, in line with tradition, was built before 1023 by the Duke of Normandy, Richard II. In the years 1600-1615, the building that has survived to this day was built - a votive chapel of sailors who wanted to protect the Virgin Mary.
