Viaducto de Millau

Built in 2001-2004, the nearly 2.5-kilometer viaduct is the tallest structure of this type in Europe - the tallest pillar is 341 m above the ground (19 m more than the Eiffel Tower). The work of the British architect Norman Foster cost nearly 400 million euros.
