Mont Blanc de Courmayeur

The summit measures 4,748 meters above sea level and is the second highest mountain in Europe. It is connected to the main peak of Mont Blanc via the Col-Major, the highest mountain pass in Europe. There are three shelters on its slopes, the highest of which is Bivacco Eccles (3850 m). There are two routes leading to the summit, which are characterized as very difficult.
