The 6-hectare public recreation area was commissioned by the abbey in the 18th century as the park of St. Louis (from the St. Louis Hospice located here), and since 1992 it is named after Michel d'Ornano, politician, industrialist and cultural activist. An interesting fact about the park is the cedar planted in 1849 to commemorate the massacre of Christians in Lebanon in 1845.
