Playa de Väinölänniemi

Väinölänniemi Beach is the largest beach in Kuopio. It is covered with golden sand and also has a sandy bottom. There are showers, toilets and changing rooms there. Two beach volleyball courts and a jumping tower await sports enthusiasts. You can walk and sunbathe on the wooden pier. From mid-June to the end of August, safety teams are guarded by rescue teams.
