Calle Triana

The main shopping street in the city is also a pedestrianized street, closed to car traffic. There are numerous shops, retail and service outlets and banks. There are also many restaurants and cafes with outdoor gardens. The first stores began to appear here in the mid-nineteenth century.

During the walk, it is worth paying attention to house No. 35, dating from 1868. From the beginning of the 20th century, a large, round electric clock has been hung on its wall. It was designed by the renowned watchmaker Juan Pflüger.

A Shopping Party takes place here every first Sunday of the month. Festivals, concerts and other cultural events, often aimed at children, are organized here regularly, especially in spring and summer. It is also a popular spot with local street performers.
