The Vegueta Market in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a covered market where you can buy a variety of food products, mostly of local origin. There are stands with vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy and herbs. You can also find clothing, handicrafts and flowers here.

As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that the market was built in the mid-nineteenth century and was the first market in the Canary Islands.
