Hogar de infancia de Hans Christian Andersen

The museum is located in a small house where Hans Christian Andersen and his family lived in the years 1807-1819. In the reconstructed interiors, you can see an exhibition devoted to the writer's childhood spent in Odense.

There were three apartments in the building. At the time when the Andersen family lived here, the remaining apartments were occupied by the families of Frantz Köcker and Philip Schenk. The Andersens shared a common entrance and hall with the Köckers.
