Baterías costeras Furreby

The seaside battery comes from the times of World War II. It was built by the German army at the turn of 1942 and 1943. Its task was to prevent the Allied forces from landing in Løkken. It was armed with four 12 cm coastal guns.

From the mid-twentieth century, the shore erosion has been increasing, and the sea line has shifted by 90 m. This has caused a landslide, making the remains of the battery and accompanying bunkers visible on the beach. They can only be viewed from the outside.
