Faro de Lyngvig

The lighthouse stands in the middle of the dune landscape. It is 36 m high, and its lights are at a height of about 53 m above sea level. Stairs consisting of 228 steps lead to its top. From above, you can enjoy a picturesque view of the West Coast: the North Sea and the Ringkøbing Fjord.

The lighthouse belongs to the Ringkøbing-Skjern Museum. Next to the main tower there are smaller buildings, now converted into a cafe, gift shop and exhibition space. You can see a collection of old crafts and furniture, handicrafts and also retro toys.

Next to the lighthouse there is a small car park, a playground for children and a picnic area with tables and benches. From here you can observe the coast and go for a walk in the dunes.
