Swoge is situated on the border of three mountain groups: Ponor, Mała Planina and Golem Płanina. There are interesting rock outcrops and caves in its vicinity, and the mountain areas are a good place for active tourism.
The town is primarily a mountain tourism center. There are no significant monuments here. Only the church and a few houses from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries have survived from the old buildings. There are, however, a few holiday resorts, hotels and guesthouses that fill up mainly in summer.
The area is known for walking and hiking trails. The main attractions of Swoge include the Lakatnik Rocks and the Rocks of Lataniszki, valued in the climbing community. There are over a dozen climbing routes of varying difficulty.
A popular destination for hiking trips is the Zhitoliub karst spring, and the Dark Hole Cave is waiting for lovers of underground exploration. It is open to the public, but you must have your own flashlights, and the walk on the underground pavements is individual.
