The temple was built in the 16th century by the Brotherhood of Santa Llúcia, and then expanded in the neoclassical style in the 18th century. The building was declared a national monument. The main seat of the hermitage is in the Gothic style, and its interior is decorated with a gilded, Baroque altar. The temple presents an exhibition dedicated to the history of the brotherhood.
