Sierra Gelada Natural Park
Local name: Parque Natural de la Sierra Gelada
El Parc Natural de la Serra Gelada has a coastal zone, including sand dunes and high cliffs, and a sea area. One of the most valuable protected natural sites is the coral reef, located south of Benidorm. The park is home to many marine bird species, such as the storm storm, the crested cormorant and the Mediterranean gull. Among the local flora, the Aleppo pines are the most numerous. One of the sights worth seeing is the lighthouse in Punta Albir.
