The La Providencia viewpoint is located in the Cabo San Lorenzo park, away from the center of Gijon. It was built in 1997 as a service space, but at present it serves only as an observation space. It has the form of a concrete structure resembling an arrowhead. From several small terraces you can admire the picturesque panorama of the Atlantic Ocean, the Cantabrian Mountains and the entire city.
