Fataga is a picturesque village on the island of Gran Canaria, located in the El Barranco de Fataga valley, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Palms. It is surrounded by steep cliffs with a characteristic brown color and mountains with slopes covered with pine forests.
Among the old narrow streets paved with stones, there are numerous historic houses with architecture typical of the Canary Islands. There are three restaurants, a water mill and one of the oldest bakeries on the island. It is also worth visiting the church. st. Jose built in 1880
