Almodóvar Gate

Almodovar Gate (Bab al-Chawz) in Cordoba is a monument of Arab culture, located in the western part of the medieval walls surrounding the city. It dates from the fourteenth century, reconstruction and expansion took place in the nineteenth century. Two high towers were connected by a bridge in the form of an arch with battlements.
