Cueva de los Verdes

Cueva de los Verdes on the Island of Lanzarote is a cave that was created as a result of the activity of the La Corona volcano. The biggest tourist attraction is the underground lake, which, as a result of optical illusion, looks like a very deep chasm. Cueva de los Verdes is also famous for its beautiful concert hall. In the olden days, the cave served as a hideout for the inhabitants during the pirate raids that roamed the surrounding waters.
