Doñana National Park covers an area of 50 hectares in the southwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The wetlands in the park are home to flamingos, and the pine forests and dune areas are home to deer, fallow deer, Iberian lynxes and wild boars. The indigenous species include marismeño wild horses and retuertas.
