Belgrade Fortress

The fortress consists of an old citadel and Kalemegdan park. The fortification was built on Celtic foundations. Most of the buildings that have survived to this day come mainly from the 17th century, but there are also Roman catacombs and excavations, including a 35-meter-deep Roman well.
