Portimão Mother Church

The most important church of Partimao, built in the second half of the 15th century. The present appearance is due to the reconstruction after the great earthquake of 1755. The remains of the Gothic building are the nave and gargoyles. The interior, like the facade, is in the Baroque style. You can see decorations from azulejos and richly decorated altars.
