Whale Museum

A museum located in the fishing village of Caniçal and presenting the history of whaling in Madeira. His exhibition shows the changes that the attitude towards whales and dolphins in this region has undergone, from the hunting object to the protected species. At exhibitions you can see models of cetaceans in natural sizes, whale bones and teeth, fishing tools, photos and whaling boats.
