Museum of the Torzym Land

The Torzymska Museum in Oles Lubuskie is housed in the Osieński Town Hall. The museum exhibition was devoted to the history and traditions of Oświęcim Lubuski and the Torzym Land where the city is located. The museum exhibition is primarily a collection of ceramics, old everyday objects, graphics, military items and a model of the city from the Middle Ages.
The Torzymska Museum in Oles Lubuskie was founded in 2002, in the premises of the town hall, where a police station was previously located. Part of the museum's collection comes from the city's inhabitants and private collectors.
The Town Hall at the Market Square in Oles Lubuski was founded in the 19th century. Its designer was the architect Emil Karl Alexander Flaminius. The first local museum in the Ośno town hall was opened in 1912. At that time, memorabilia related to the city and the Torzym Land were exhibited, as well as historic building furnishings from this region.
