Korkosz Farm
Local name: Zagroda Korkoszów
Korkoszów is a small regional museum in Czarna Góra, which presents the material culture of Spisz from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It includes a farm of rich hosts consisting of a cottage, a stable, a barn, a pigsty, a coach house and a sheepdog. The whole is equipped with original equipment from the early twentieth century.
The Karkoszów farm is a branch of the Tatra Museum. It was handed over to museum owners by family representatives. It shows the changes that occurred in the Croatian villages at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The rich family of Karkoszów lived initially in a cottage consisting of a cottage, a stable and a barn. Over time, more buildings were added to them.
Buildings are built in the traditional quadrangle for this region and connect with each other. You can see the next stages of expansion, until the construction of brick stables in the 1930s. In the yard was collected economic equipment from the beginning of the 20th century.
