Christianholm fortress
Local name: Christianholm festning
17th-century fortress built according to the Kristiansand protection plan on the initiative of the king of Denmark and Norway Christian IV. It was designed by Dutch general Willem Coucheron. Today it is a popular tourist attraction and a place for cultural and entertainment events.
