Palazzo Parisio

The Neo-Baroque palace in Naxxar is one of the few examples of residential architecture in Malta. Originally it was built in 1733 as a hunting palace of the Grand Master of the Order of the Knights of Malta. It got its present appearance at the end of the 19th century, when it was bought by the Marquis of Scicluna.

The interior of the palace is decorated with splendor and sometimes called live "Little Versailles". There are numerous painting decorations referring to Greek mythology, as well as a magnificent ballroom with gilded decorations.
