The Lithuanian Road Museum is a real treasury of knowledge about the Lithuanian urban landscape from the times of the Roman Empire to the present day. The exhibitions show old road maps, photo albums, numerous books and magazines on road, ring roads and motorways construction from all corners of Lithuania. The museum was opened in 1995 on the 25th anniversary of the construction of the Vilnius-Kaunas highway.
