John's Hill

Today, what appear to be small pieces of walls used to be a complex defensive complex. In the 17th / 18th century, the city was surrounded in a manner typical of Dutch type fortifications. It consisted of towers about 3.5 m high and external ditches (moats). On the hill you can admire the bastions that have remained after the old fortifications.
