Tullamore D.E.W Distillery

Tullamore Dew is one of the varieties of Irish whiskey. There is now a Visitors' Center in the old warehouse known as the Old Bonded Warehouse. During the tour, guests learn about the entire production process step by step - from making the whiskey in the distillery to sending the finished drink to the warehouse. Finally, a tasting takes place in a specially arranged room, during which you can also prepare your own mixtures. There is also a restaurant and a company shop on site.

Tullamore Dew has been produced in the old Tullamore Distillery since 1829. Its name comes from the initials of Daniel E. Williams, CEO and later owner of the first distillery. In 1954, the distillery was closed and, as the whiskey stocks ran out, the brand was sold to John Powers & Son, an Irish distiller. In the 1970s, production was moved to the Midleton Distillery in County Cork.
