St Patrick's Church

The neo-Gothic church of Saint Patrick in Trim belongs to the Roman Catholic Church. It is a T-shaped building with a tower attached to the entrance. The interior is decorated with mosaics with Celtic motifs.

The church was built around 1900. It was built of limestone mined in the area, with sandstone finishes. The temple is reminiscent of the English churches of the fourteenth century. A square tower adjoins the T-shaped building. Its upper part becomes an octagon. There is also an octagonal spire. Above the entrance there is a large window with a tracery.

The interior of the church has been finished with mosaics. Celtic motifs composed of multi-colored tiles are visible on the floor and walls. The decor is complemented by neo-Gothic stained glass windows and carved details.
