Astronomical Clock

The astronomical clock dates from the mid-nineteenth century and is already the third located in the Notre-Dame Cathedral. The golden hands show sunny time and the silver hands show Central European time. The clock also indicates the position of the Sun and Moon. At noon, a mechanism is activated to move the figures of Christ and the apostles.
