Rocher Castle

Once a huge stronghold, now in a protected state of ruin, it was built in the 11th century on the site of a 200-year-old fortified house. The castle lost its defensive importance in the 16th century, and in the 18th century it was abandoned and fell into complete ruin, serving for years as a source of cheap building materials.
