Longchamp Park

The Longchamp Park and Palace was created in 1869 as the final construction of a drinking water supply from the Durance River. The park is dominated by a giant fountain with a group of sculptures of bulls and women - the middle figure is a symbolic representation of Durance. There are also monumental specimens of trees, plane trees, oaks and elms growing from the founding of the garden.
