The highest peak in the Spanish province of Navarre, half owned by France, is a popular mountain hiking destination. The picturesqueness of stone slopes, little difficulty in climbing and a wonderful, panoramic view from the top meant that on both sides of the border there are many trails that make it easier to climb the mountain.
