Cadouin Cloister
Local name: Cloître de Cadouin
According to tradition, the abbey was founded in 1115 by the hermit Géraud de Salles. Already at the time of its creation, it became famous thanks to the Shroud of Cadouin (the equivalent of the famous Shroud of Turin), which is still a destination for pilgrimages today.
