Carolingian Oratory

The 806 oratory is famous for its 11th-century mosaic of the Ark of the Covenant with two angels. The work with an area of 9 m2 was created with the use of 130 thousand. ceramic tiles. The building has retained its original elements, but its present appearance is the result of modernizations carried out in the fifteenth, sixteenth and nineteenth centuries.
