The casino was founded in 1912. It is housed in a classicist building by Georges Wybo, which in 1988 was restored in the baroque style according to the design of architect Jacques Garcia. Its interior is richly decorated with crystals, gilding and marble elements.
There are two spacious rooms for 500-700 guests, three restaurants, three bars and the Brummel Park nightclub. There is also an Italian theater with an audience of 400 seats and a cinema that hosts the screenings of the Deauville American Film Festival. Festive gala dinners are held in the spacious reception hall of the Salon des Ambassadeurs.
The casino offers, among others 300 slot machines, tables for English and French roulette, dice games and blackjack. Visitors must be of legal age. There is a dress code at the casino which excludes the wearing of beachwear, shorts and t-shirts.
