Garden of the National Botanical Conservatory of Brest

This is not only a botanical garden, but also a scientific and technical institution working to protect the wild diversity of western France. The institution was established in 1975. It was the first institution in the world devoted entirely to saving endangered species. It is part of a network of 11 national botanical gardens to cover French territory.
