Brantôme Abbey

Local name: Abbaye de Brantôme

The monastery was founded in the second half of 8th century by Benedictines. The complex received the title of a national monument. A showcase of the former abbey is a cave dug in limestone, which has two monumental carvings of the Last Judgment.
